Armement Dhellemmes SA är ett franskt fiskeriföretag var huvudägare är det nederländska fiskeriföretaget Cornelis Vrolijk/Jaczon. Sen en tid tillbaka är företaget eller dessa fiskeflotta till salu. Ett intresserad köpare är Frankrikes största fiskeriföretag, Scapeche. Ombordanställda och fiskeriintressen i Concarneau där Dhellemmes har huvuddelen av sin fiskeflotta är dock tveksamma till Scapeche som köpare och har istället lagt ett eget bud på företaget:
The talks have sparked fears that Scapeche will relocate the vessels from their current harbor Concarneau to Scapeche’s base in Lorient, located some 55 kilometers further south. Both Concarneau and Lorient are in Brittany, northwestern France.
To prevent this, shipowners led by Patrice Petillon have got together to put forward a counter-bid which will be formally submitted shortly, said Le Telegramme and Ouest France.
Dhellemmes’ managing director has been notified of their intentions, Petillon, who heads the purse seiner War Raog IV and is employed by Dhellemmes, told Le Telegramme on April 10.
The bid is estimated at a value of €12 million to €15m, said the news website.
The bidders are the shipowners of the seven vessels at the heart of the talks: the three seiners War Raog III and IV and Berceau de l’Ocean and the four trawlers Corail, Saint-Gothard, Roselend and Iroise.

A loss of the vessels would be a catastrophe for Concarneau’s fishing sector, threatening some 200 jobs, said Ouest France.
In 2013, the harbor took in 8,000 metric tons, of which 5,000t from the auctions.
But it would not be the first time that Concarneau loses vessels to its bigger rival Lorient. In 2003, Scapeche acquired the fleet Nicot, promising to keep some activity in Concarneau, recalls Ouest France. However, all their activity was later transferred to the Morhiban, where Lorient is.
Roselend
Dhellemmes grundades 1970 och för cirka 20 år sen investerade det nederländska företaget Jaczon BV i det franska företaget. Bland de fiskebåtar som Dhellemmes äger idag finns trålarna Grand Saint Bernard på 272 ton, Saint-Gothard på 226 ton, Iroise på 226 ton, Roselend på 242 ton och Corail på 249 ton, snörpvadsbåtarna War Raog III och War Raog IV, garnbåten Berceau de l’Ocean, snurrevadsbåtarna Aravis på 252 ton, Galibier, Tourmalet och Larche (delägd), alla på 222 ton. Det kan var så att någon av båtarna har sålts. Uppgifterna om ägare är lite oklara vad det gäller franska fiskebåtar.
Företaget ägnar sig främst åt fiske av vitfisk som exempelvis kummel och torsk och plattfisk, men även åt fiske av pelagisk fisk som sardiner och sill.
